Inspection Consultants (Incon) is an independent NDT Company providing a complete NDT Service. Established for 25 years and headed by our Managing Director who himself has over 40 years experience in the industry we can assist clients in providing the solutions to their NDT requirements.
We are fully accredited to ISO9001:2000, and have the approval of Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, SAFED and various other governing bodies.
Our Head Office and specialised Test House Facility which is based in Cheshire in the North West of England includes three purpose built Radiographic Bays capable of taking spools up to 8 metres in length, and lifting facilities of up to 3 tonne. We provide a collection and delivery service using our Flat Bed Truck if required to remove spools for testing from Clients Workshops / Sites. Our test house is running 24 hours to ensure a speedy turnaround.
All our NDT Technicians are externally qualified to both PCN and ASNT and carry SCATS Safety Passports. Our Techs are fully equipped with the latest NDT Technology to carry out testing at our Clients premises / sites, providing computerized reports at the time of test.

Digital Radiography – ideal for corrosion surveys
Phased Array – Ultrasonic Testing with permanent record
Positive Material Identification – both X-Ray Fluorescence and Spectrographic Carbon Analysis.
Videoscope – down to 6mm bore size recording images to CD or Memory Stick.
Hydrotesting – up to 30,000 psi
Marine Surveys – Hull Thickness Checks, 25 year insurance surveys
Fully Automated Tank Surveys – Floor and Wall scanners
Automated Crack Testing – Testing of large quantities in short time frame
Bespoke Weld Procedures & Welder Qualifications –All approved in house by our own associated UKAS accredited Inspection arm.
