  Inspection Consultants (Incon) is an independently owned and managed Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Company with its Head Office in Ellesmere Port, Wirral, in the North West of England, and bases in Runcorn and Pembroke, South Wales.

We have fully equipped and qualified mobile Technicians available to carry out NDT all over the UK. We are fully accredited to ISO9001:2008 with AS9100 Aerospace accreditation, and have the approval of Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, SAFED  and various other governing bodies.

We provide the full range of Non Destructive Testing Services both on site and at our fully equipped Base and all our Technicians are externally qualified to ASNT and PCN and carry SCATS Passports and are Confined Space Trained, to include full Breathing Apparatus. We can provide the full NDT package from initial Site Risk Assesments, Specific Method Statements and Bespoke Procedures to the submission of full Quality Data Packs at the end of the projects. Our Non Destructive Testing Services Include:-

Positive Material Identification using both X-Ray Fluorescence and Optical Emission
Industrial Radiography (both conventional X & Gamma Ray), and Digital / Computerised Industrial Radiography. 
Ultrasonic Testing Surveys, Phased Array, Fully Automated Tank Floor and Wall Thickness Scanners. 
Magnetic Particle Inspection - DPI, Flourescent MPI, Automated MPI carried out on a dedicated Bench designed to test large quantities of castings in a short period. 
Videoscope Inspection fully remote controlled down to 6mm bore size
Hydrotesting - hydrostatic pressure testing on pipe lengths, pipe spooling and other pressure retaining vessels,
Marine Surveys Ships Hull Surveys approved to DNV, Germanischer Lloyd and Lloyds Register of Shipping. 
Welder Qualifications and Bespoke Weld Procedures
Corrosion Surveys
Carbon content, Lead Content, Paint Analysis, Soil / Environmental Surveys, Precious Metals etc.
Hardness and FerriteTesting, Vacuum Box Testing of Tank Floors & Shell to Annular Weld
