X-Ray and Gamma Ray services available from Incon:-
Our Test House has 3 purpose built RPA/HSE approved Radiographic Test Bays which are operational 24/7 to ensure a fast turnaround of items for testing, especially important in Plant Shutdown scenarios.
All bays are equipped with a fully certified and endorsed Interlock Safe Working System and equipped with lifting facilities which include Transfer Boogies and Fork Lift Trucks for loading and unloading of client supplied test items.
We also have a large storage area within the building ensuring client items can be stored safely and securely, in quarantine if required.
There is clear access into the Test House so vehicles can be loaded and off loaded safely
We hold the following traditional Industrial Radigraphy X-ray and Gamma Ray equipment:-
* ERESCO 300KV Smart constant potential X-ray set, which is mounted in a manipulator housing which gives us a totally flexible way of working, it is capable of penetrating section thickness of up to 75mm.
* 8 off Tech Ops Iridium 192 isotopes, we always keep a stock of sources with various strengths - each Radiographic Bay licensed up to 30cu each.
* 3 off GAMMAMAT containers holding Selenium sources of up to 60 curie, this is our Close Proximity Radiography System, also known as SAFE RAD.
* 4 off MG 160L Transportable dual focus constant potential X-ray sets.
* 3 off Rigaku portable 300Kva directional X-ray set.
* 1 off Philips 200Kva panoramic X-ray set.
* 2 off Philips 300Kva directional X-ray set.
* 1 off Andrex 300Kva Smart X-ray set
* 4 off Mobile Darkrooms each with fully automated processing facilities and computerised reporting system.
* 1 off Sprinter van equipped with a fully integrated darkroom.
* 2 off 4x4 Land Rovers, ideal for Gas Pipelines / Spreads.
All our Radiographers are RPS qualified and have full training in Source Recovery Procedures, this ensures complete piece of mind for our Clients knowing that any Site Radiography carried out in completed in full accordance with HSE Legislation. Prior specific Risk Assesments will always be carried out before commencing any Site Radiography by one of our Senior Radiographers who will be responsible for Client liason / HSE liason - this means a personal service can be guaranteed.
Our Radiographers have Confined Space Training and specific Pipeline qualifications - Gas Network Safety Passports & Cross Country Pipeline Health & Safety Passports.
